Iamdeadstock Adidas Spezial Giveaway

Iamdeadstock Adidas Spezial Giveaway Pic 1

We’re at it again peeps – you can win some “spzl” goodies by taking part in our Iamdeadstock Adidas Spezial Giveaway

The adidas Spezial Exhibition in Blackburn has been an unmitigated triumph in our eyes both in terms of the vintage shoes and trainers on show and the associated AW19 Spezial launch. We’ve been several times already … and we plan to go some more!

Everyone loves the adidas Blackburn but for us, it was the vintage 1980’s 1-for-1 re-issue adidas SL 80 within the new collection that was the stand out. So, like you no doubt, late last Thursday evening/Friday morning, we joined the on-line scramble to bag a pair.

Our luck was in for once and we managed to grab two pair… and being the all round good eggs we are, we’re going to reward one lucky person with the second pair (one of a UK size 8.5 or a 10 BTW – keep ’em, swap ’em , sell ’em, your call).

And to further “sex” up the prize a little (Ed – do we need to?!), we’re also throwing in a limited edition 1 of 500 adidas Blackburn Tee (size Small to 2XL), a natty little tote bag and a couple of event posters. What’s not to like there then?

How To Enter

[giveaway id=40240]

To enter, provide the right answer to the question: “In what year were the original adidas SL 80 released?” … should be pretty easy for you when you see the answers!

Next enter your email address and signup to our newsletter (we won’t spam you honest, just let you know of our new deadstock Adidas, Stone Island and CP Company drops, special offers, fashion news and further giveaways).

You can also even earn more entries (and therefore chances to win) by referring a friend and/or sharing the giveaway via your Facebook / Instagram / Twitter accounts. So what are you waiting for, enter away.

Iamdeadstock Adidas Spezial Giveaway – Details

Here’s a little more detail on what you could get your mucky mitts on if you win:

#1 Adidas SL 80 (UK size 8.5) – RRP £100

Ed – Had a pair myself in 1980 – wish I’d kept them now!

Straight from the vaults, specifically a West German model that originally debuted to the world in 1980 (Ed – nearly 40 years ago now, wow!).

The new AW19 model is a faithful recreation and is constructed from a lightweight nylon teamed with suede work to block out the upper in Navy. Signature adidas gold 3 stripes, heel tab and “SL 80” side lettering deliver an effective contrast along with its signature bright yellow base unit.

  • adidas SL 80 SPZL
  • 1:1 reissue of the 1980 West German original
  • Collegiate Navy / Gold / Scarlet colourway
  • Nylon and suede upper
  • adidas Spezial footbed
  • adidas SPZL hangtag

#2 Blackburn Nightsafe Charity T Shirt (UK size Small to XL) – RRP £25

Limited edition 1 of 500 cotton t-shirt with front graphic in a colourway inspired by the Red Rose of Lancashire, Blackburn’s mother county. The tee references the 2019 Spezial Exhibition and the Nightsafe youth homelessness charity to which the shirt sale proceeds were given.

If you were one of the lucky ones and managed to get a pair of adidas Blackburn last week, then this t-shirt would complement your shoes perfectly.

In Blackburn Spezial colours …

Simply a nice piece of adidas Blackburn Spezial memorabilia … or you could give it your Nan to get the shopping in.
